SponsorMonster — Privacy notice
This notice covers data processing for sponsormonster.app. The sico-wide privacy notice applies in addition.
1. What data we collect
- Account data — email address, hashed password (via SuperTokens).
- Creator profile data — YouTube channel URL, niche, audience demographics, average view counts, engagement rates, and any other profile information you provide to generate your rate card and media kit.
- Rate card and media kit content — the AI-generated sponsorship rate card and shareable media kit we produce from your profile data. Stored so you can return to and share them across sessions.
- Brand discovery preferences — niche keywords, deal-size preferences, and category filters you configure for brand matching.
- Usage telemetry — page views and feature interactions via PostHog (EU). No creator profile data is sent to PostHog.
2. AI processing
Your creator profile data (channel stats, niche, audience demographics) is sent to the Anthropic API to generate your sponsorship rate card and media kit narrative. Prompts contain only the data you have explicitly provided in your profile. Anthropic does not use API inputs for model training by default (see Anthropic's privacy policy).
3. Legal basis
Processing is necessary to perform the contract you entered when signing up (UK GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)). AI-powered rate card generation is a core feature; if you do not wish your profile data to be processed by the Anthropic API, you may not be able to use those features.
4. Sharing your media kit
SponsorMonster generates a shareable public link for your media kit. Anyone with the link can view the media kit content. You may regenerate or disable the link at any time from your dashboard. We do not index shared media kit pages in search engines.
5. Data retention
Account and profile data is retained while your subscription is active. On account deletion, all profile data, rate cards, and media kit content are purged within 30 days. Billing records (Stripe invoices) are retained for 7 years per UK accounting requirements.
6. Sub-processors
- Anthropic — AI rate card and media kit generation. Creator profile data is sent as part of the generation prompt. Anthropic processes data under its standard API terms.
- Hetzner — VPS hosting; data stored in EU.
- Stripe — billing for your SponsorMonster subscription.
- Resend — transactional email.
- PostHog (EU) — product analytics (no profile data).
