Terms of service
1. Agreement
By creating an account or using any sico product, you agree to these terms. "sico", "we", "us" refers to Sico Software Ltd (Scotland, UK). "Product" refers to the specific service you have signed up for (affilut, CheckMargin, CareerFlip, or any other sico product).
2. Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must not share your account or use the product on behalf of a third party without their knowledge. We may suspend accounts we believe are being misused.
3. Subscriptions and billing
Paid plans are billed monthly or as stated at checkout. We use Stripe for payment processing; Stripe's terms apply to payment processing. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; we do not offer prorated refunds for partial months unless required by law.
4. Free trials
Where a free trial is offered, it begins on account creation. After the trial period, continued access requires a paid subscription. We may shorten or discontinue free trials at our discretion with reasonable notice.
5. Acceptable use
You must not use our products to send unsolicited communications (spam), to process illegal transactions, to attempt to reverse-engineer or scrape our infrastructure, or to violate any applicable law or third-party terms of service (including Shopify, Stripe, or PayPal policies).
6. Data and privacy
Use of personal data is governed by our Privacy notice. By using our products you consent to data processing as described there.
7. Availability and support
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uptime. Planned maintenance is typically announced in advance. Support is provided by email with response times as stated on the contact page.
8. Intellectual property
All product code, designs, and content are owned by Sico Software Ltd. Your data remains yours. We do not claim ownership of content you upload.
9. Liability limitation
To the extent permitted by law, sico's liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months prior to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of Scotland. Disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Scottish courts.
11. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated by email at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance.
